Vincelio — The platform where brands and creators connect to launch successful campaigns. Find talent, collaborate, and grow — across LATAM.

Vincelio is a creator-brand marketplace designed for the Latin American market. Brands find verified creators, launch campaigns, and manage every collaboration from one place — no agencies, no hidden fees.

The Market

Influencer marketing in LATAM is fragmented. Brands waste time cold-DMing creators, negotiating through WhatsApp, and tracking deliverables on spreadsheets. Creators miss opportunities because there’s no central place to find campaigns that match their niche and audience. Agencies take large commissions and add layers of bureaucracy that slow down what should be a straightforward collaboration. The tools that exist in the US and European markets are built in English, priced in dollars, and designed for markets with different social media dynamics. LATAM needed its own platform — one that understands regional pricing, supports Spanish natively, and respects the creator-brand relationship without extracting value from it.

What We Built

A two-sided marketplace connecting brands and creators with everything needed to run influencer campaigns end-to-end:

  • Campaign management — brands create campaigns with briefs, timelines, budgets, and deliverable requirements. Creators apply and brands select who to work with.
  • Creator discovery — 2,400+ verified creators with detailed profiles including audience demographics, engagement rates, content categories, and past collaboration history
  • Direct messaging — real-time chat between brands and creators with no middlemen or gatekeepers
  • Transparent pricing — creators set their own rates. No hidden commissions or platform fees that eat into earnings.
  • Contract management — digital agreements that both parties sign before work begins, covering deliverables, timelines, and payment terms
  • Built in Spanish — the entire platform, including onboarding, support, and documentation, is designed for LATAM from day one

The creator profile system is central to the platform. Each creator connects their social accounts so the platform can pull verified follower counts, engagement metrics, and audience demographics. Brands search and filter creators by category (fashion, food, fitness, tech, travel), location, follower range, and engagement rate. This eliminates the guesswork of finding the right creator for a campaign.

Technical Approach

Vincelio is a full-stack web application built with a SvelteKit frontend and a backend API layer connected to a PostgreSQL database. The two-sided nature of the marketplace required separate user flows, dashboards, and permission models for brands and creators, all running on the same underlying data.

Social media verification integrates with Instagram and TikTok APIs to pull audience data and validate creator profiles. This data refreshes periodically so brands always see current metrics rather than stale numbers. The campaign workflow engine tracks states from draft to active to completed, with automated notifications at each transition — when a creator applies, when a brand selects them, when deliverables are due, and when payment is released.

Search and filtering uses indexed queries against creator profile data with full-text search on bios and category tags. The system ranks results by relevance and engagement quality rather than raw follower count, surfacing creators who deliver real results for brands.

Architecture Decisions

We built the platform with localization as a first-class concern rather than bolting it on later. All user-facing strings run through an i18n system, and the database stores content in the user’s preferred language. Currency handling supports Mexican pesos, Colombian pesos, Argentine pesos, and US dollars with real-time conversion rates for cross-border campaigns.

The messaging system uses real-time WebSocket connections for instant delivery. Message history persists in the database and is tied to specific campaigns, so brands and creators can reference past conversations when disputes arise or when they want to re-engage for future work.

Authentication supports email-password and social login. Creator onboarding includes a verification step where the platform confirms identity and social account ownership before the profile goes live. This keeps the marketplace quality high and gives brands confidence that they are working with real creators.

Results

The platform serves 380+ active brands and 2,400+ verified creators across Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and other LATAM markets. Collaborations on the platform carry a 4.9-star average rating, reflecting the quality of matches and the transparency of the process. By removing agencies from the equation, both brands and creators keep more of the value from each collaboration. Brands report faster campaign turnaround times compared to traditional agency workflows, and creators appreciate the direct access to campaign opportunities without giving up a percentage of their earnings.
